dBx Acoustics are without doubt our first choice for acousticians.  Through my career, I’ve worked with quite a number of acousticians, but dBx stand apart – not only due to their deep expertise in their field, but also – and this is more unusual – because they are genuine team players, understanding that construction is a collective endeavour.  This doesn’t mean that they compromise standards, but it does mean that they will collaborate closely to overcome design challenges in a positive and energetic manner; and this was very much to the fore in developing the design for the new St Paul’s SEND Centre in Milton Keynes.

It’s been 12 months since the acoustic panels went up to your recommendations in our church hall, and we continue to receive positive comments about the improvement.  It’s noticeable for everyone, but particularly those who wear hearing aids, who now find it very much easier to be in there. I have worked with Susan very closely over the past few months on some serious acoustic issues that we have on a scheme in Glasgow which meant a full review of the environmental and planning condition against the previous acoustic model prior to procuring some new equipment. I found Susan to be very knowledgeable and always brought something to table. I was working to extremely tight deadlines and she was very responsive to the challenges I set.
